Position: Metal Fabrication Technician.Salary: £18-21 per hour, depending on experience.Location: Cheltenham. We are looking for two skilled Sheet Metal Workers with experience in thin gauge aluminium, steel, and titanium to join our team.Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret technical drawings and instructions to fabricate sheet metal products accurately.
  • Set up and operate fabricating machines and hand tools for cutting, bending, and straightening metal materials.
  • Shape sheet metal over anvils, blocks, or custom forms to achieve precise dimensions and smooth finishes.
  • Assist in training new or less experienced team members as needed.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety procedures.
  • Participate in external audits and engage in internal audits and process improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency with shrinkers, stretchers, straighteners, English wheels, and rollers for part profile creation.
  • Strong understanding of metal behaviour during forming processes.
  • Experience working with titanium, steel, and aluminium.
  • Panel beating skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and documentation.
  • Familiarity with first-off inspection procedures.
