We are looking for a skilled and experienced Press Brake Operator to join our production team. If you have a keen eye for detail, experience in programming CNC machines, and are ready to contribute to a high-standard, aerospace-focused environment, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and operate the Amada CNC Press Brake to manufacture aerospace components.
  • Adhere to technical drawings, instructions, and processes to ensure precise fabrication.
  • Use hand and power tools, along with associated machinery, for component adjustments.
  • Meet production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Work independently, taking initiative in resolving tasks and challenges.
  • Report any unresolved issues promptly to the line manager.
  • Share technical knowledge with team members to promote continuous improvement.
  • Participate in both internal and external audits, including those from Nadcap, BSI, and customers.
  • Engage in process improvement initiatives and support ongoing audits.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Familiarity with first-off inspection procedures.
  • Essential experience in programming CNC Press Brake machines.
  • Ability to work with precision, paying close attention to detail.
  • Strong manual skills and technical expertise in the use of hand tools and machinery.

Knowledge and Compliance:

  • Solid engineering experience and numeracy skills.
  • Effective communication and organisational abilities.
