Job Description

Press Brake Setter - Salary: £16.50 - £18.00 per hour

Location: Cheltenham Our Client is searching for a skilled Brake Press Operator looking to join their dynamic team, you will be responsible for the manufacture and adjustment of high-quality aerospace components.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating and programming the Amada CNC Brake Press, ensuring adherence to technical drawings and processes while meeting production targets.
  • Conducting first-off inspections and ensuring compliance with production, safety, and quality standards.
  • Working independently and collaboratively, addressing issues with your line manager when necessary and sharing your technical knowledge with team members.
  • Engaging in internal and external audits and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential skills and experience

  • A background in engineering and familiarity with reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Essential experience in operating and programming the Amada CNC Brake Pres
  • Strong manual skills and precision, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
  • Comfort with numerical tasks relevant to production.
