My client is a leading provider of high-quality engineering and design solutions, known for delivering innovative and sustainable projects across various industries. Based in Cheltenham, my client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join Davidson Walsh's dynamic team. As a CAD Technician, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the design and engineering teams by producing high-quality technical drawings and plans using CAD software.

Key Responsibilities for this CAD Technician role:

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and designers to understand project requirements and provide technical support.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, schematics, and plans using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant tools).
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback or design changes.
• Ensure all designs meet industry standards and are aligned with client specifications.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, project documentation, and presentations.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure project timelines and goals are met.
• Maintain organized records of design files and project documentation.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to junior team members when needed.

Requirements for this CAD Technician:

• Proven experience as a CAD Technician, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design and drafting skills.
• Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and/or Revit. Experience with 3D modeling is a plus.
• Knowledge of engineering and architectural design principles.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities.
• A relevant qualification in CAD, engineering, or design is preferred (e.g., HNC, HND, or equivalent).
