We have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Manager to join our Technical team within Vistry Cotswolds, at our office in Cheltenham. As our Technical Manager you will will manage key information, engineering and working drawing packages to enable any given residential development to be built as intended and to obtain all necessary technical approvals.

- Good level of IT literacy with experience of AutoCAD, Outlook, Excel and Word. Revit experience would be an advantage.

- Manage sites as agreed with the Technical Director from design stage to post completion, in line with the delivery programme / key date schedule.
- Review reports from Land department and manage associated requirements from design to completion.
- Manage consultants to deliver the Civil Engineering designs, Structural Engineering and contamination remediation requirements.
- Manage consultants to deliver the house type working drawings packs and liaise with key suppliers to provide ancillary drawing information for tender and construction.
- Undertaking value engineering assessments and ensure buildability of designs.
- Manage submission of designs and securing technical approvals for agreements such as S104, S38 and S278.
- Following technical approval being granted, managing timely completion of legal agreements with external solicitors.
- Manage progression of utility designs from land handover to initial mains laying onto site, ensuring legal agreements completed in timely manner.
- Provide information for Housing Association contracts and attendance of progress meetings.
- Manage the accuracy of information supplied by all departments to ensure no discrepancies.
- Submission of all information to NHBC and obtaining approval of same, obtaining SAP Assessments together with PEA and EPC’s, Secure by Design Approval and Robust Details.
- Obtaining and collating all ancillary specialist drawings including heating and plumbing, kitchens, stairs, joists, trusses, lintels, pc ground floors and pc upper floors.
- Attending Pre-tender meetings and briefing all departments on matters relating to the engineering and working drawings.
- Manage information and liaise with Architects, Civil and Structural Engineers, ensuring consistency between various designs.
- Prepare all drawings and documents for Pre-tender meetings in line with the Regional Key Date Schedule.
- To monitor and report technical and development fees.
- Resolve all technical related queries including conducting site visits as required.
