My client, a specialist UK based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant to join a supportive team based in Cheltenham.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background including a MSc and/or BSc in Hydrology, Geography, Civil Engineering, Environmental Modelling or Hydraulic Modelling and a keen interest in hydrology, hydraulic modelling and water quality.

Candidates are required to live locally and have a keen interest in flood risk, hydraulic modelling and drainage.

As a Graduate Consultant you will join a supportive Engineering Team based in the South West. You will be trained to complete;

-Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications in flood zone 1,2 and 3.

-Flood Estimation.

-Rainfall Analysis.

-Water Quality Assessments and Nutrient Neutrality Assessments.

-Drainage Modelling using Causeway and Microdrainage.

-GIS Mapping.

-Drainage Strategies.

-Flood Risk Modelling using Tuflow and Flood Modeller.
