We are proud to be partnering with a Law Firm with 10 offices across the UK, who are looking to appoint a Credit Controller on a permanent basis

This will be a full-time, site-based position in Cheltenham, with a salary of £27,000 per annum and 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

The ideal candidate will have around one years’ experience in a similar role and be a confident MS Excel user.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Taking responsibility for c.300 live accounts and liaising directly with clients on outstanding and overdue balances
  • Producing monthly statements & letters
  • Assisting in the process of how debts are passed to our Debt Recovery team where appropriate
  • Liaising with departments in order to ensure that they are kept informed of progress on payments
  • Assisting in the suspending of bills procedure where instructed and appropriate
  • Assisting in the management of instalment payments checking that they are received as agreed and chase when instalments are missed

Experience required:

  • Around one year experience in Credit Control
  • Confident MS Excel user - VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables

Working hours:
