Under the guidance of the Site Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the premises to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly clean designated areas using appropriate techniques and equipment.
  • Tasks include washing floors, walls, and hard surfaces; sweeping; vacuuming; polishing; and dusting.
  • Clean toilets, showers, hygiene rooms, fixtures, fittings, and internal glass.
  • Safely remove litter and waste, paying special attention to liquids, broken glass, or any hazardous materials.
  • Lock and unlock windows and doors as instructed.
  • Clean the swimming pool changing rooms for both staff and students.
  • Replenish supplies such as toiletries and plastic bags as needed.
  • Empty vacuum cleaners and buffer vacuum bags at the end of each session.
  • Clean and check all equipment after use, ensuring cables are in good condition, and store equipment safely. Report any faults to the Site Manager.
Essential Requirements
  • Ability to use stepladders or "kick along" steps for cleaning high surfaces and internal glazing.
  • Willingness to cover for absent colleagues on a rota basis.
  • Flexibility in cleaning duties between term time and holiday periods.
