Assembly Operative - Staverton

Are you skilled in assembly and looking for a new opportunity? Our client, a highly successful manufacturing company in Staverton, Cheltenham need an Assembly Operative to join their team on a 12-week temporary-permanent basis, starting from Monday 3rd February!

In this role, you'll be a vital part of their team, involved in manufacturing and testing parts to create intelligent travel solutions.

Previous assembly experience is desirable - if you have good dexterity and great attention to detail from a warehouse/production/manufacturing background, we want to hear from you!

What's in it for you:

  • Full-time hours from Monday to Thursday, with early finish on Fridays (Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:15 & Fridays 07:30-12:00).

What you'll do:

  • Assemble and test electrical sub-assemblies.
  • Assemble and test completed systems.
  • Assemble parts from stores.
  • Assemble electrical sub-assemblies into the main products.
  • Complete relevant documentation.
  • Use company tablets for various tasks such as: accessing engineer drawings, attending Teams meetings, responding to emails etc.
  • Barcode scan relevant supplier information.
  • Maintain a tidy working area.
  • Follow company processes to maintain quality standards.
  • Support stock control for production build.
