Hardware Electronic Engineer - Aerospace
Location: Cheltenham/remote - 3/4 days on-site per week
Duration: 12 months initially
Rate: Up to 75 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hardware (HW) Electronic Verification engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying the design and functionality of electronic hardware components and systems to ensure they meet specified requirements and standards. This role requires a deep understanding of electronic circuits, verification methodologies, and industry standards.
- Execute verification plans for electronic hardware components and systems. - Perform simulations and analyze results to identify and resolve design issues.
- Collaborate with design engineers to understand design specifications and requirements.
- Conduct hardware debugging and troubleshooting to identify root causes of issues.
- Document verification processes, results, and any issues encountered.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in hardware verification.
Essential Qualifications:
- An Electronics Engineering degree, IPC qualification or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, digital and analog design, and verification methodologies.
- Proven experience in hardware verification, preferably in a contractor or consulting role.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of network protocols including ARINC 664, ARINC-429, ARINC 629, and ARINC-825 (CAN).
