Senior Electronics Engineer

We are recruiting for a Senior Electronics Engineer for a client specialises in complex medical devices, who are based in Staverton.
We are looking for a candidate with extensive electronic design skills, ensuring that designs are robust and well thought out with diagnostics and future proofing always at the back of your mind. You will also be involved in R&D activities.

Role Requirements – Senior Electronics Engineer

• To contribute to all aspects of the product design from an electronics and general engineering point of view.
• To design PCBAs (Schematic capture, Layout, FMEA/Component Rating analysis etc)
• To support R&D Activities where needed, this may involve investigations to explore design ideas, or it may be to help qualify new components and technologies.

The ideal candidate for the Senior Electronics Engineer role would have:

• Extensive experience of PCBA design.
• A good understanding of how software and hardware integrate.
• A demonstrable appreciation of working in a controlled engineering environment (such as a regulated industry or any environment with engineering control).
• An ability to produce small ad-hoc reports as well as being experienced in producing requirements, design and test documentation.
• A broad knowledge of analogue and digital electronics.
