Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Technical Team in a positive, customer-focused, and professional manner.
  • Ensure internal compliance to meet externally achieved certifications
  • Manage food quality and safety complaints in line with the company process.
  • Ownership, expertise, and management of appropriate third-party customer portals, ensuring accurate product specifications across platforms.
  • Manage the supplier process from initial selection & approval through conducting site visits (if required), setting clear technical expectations, providing guidance & support, issuing performance updates and instigate joint business/improvement plans.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Experience in a Senior or Supervisory role within an office environment.
  • Excellent numeracy and IT skills, including intermediate MS Excel.
  • Experience and knowledge of European and UK food legislation.
  • A good team player with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of quality management, project management and food Safety systems.
