Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage the Technical Team in a positive, customer-focused, and professional manner.
- Ensure internal compliance to meet externally achieved certifications
- Manage food quality and safety complaints in line with the company process.
- Ownership, expertise, and management of appropriate third-party customer portals, ensuring accurate product specifications across platforms.
- Manage the supplier process from initial selection & approval through conducting site visits (if required), setting clear technical expectations, providing guidance & support, issuing performance updates and instigate joint business/improvement plans.
Skills and Attributes:
- Experience in a Senior or Supervisory role within an office environment.
- Excellent numeracy and IT skills, including intermediate MS Excel.
- Experience and knowledge of European and UK food legislation.
- A good team player with great attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
- Knowledge of quality management, project management and food Safety systems.
