As an Accounts Manager, you’ll manage a diverse portfolio of non-audit clients across multiple industries, working closely with business owners to provide expert financial guidance.   • Manage and review annual accounts and tax computations for a diverse client portfolio.
  • Ensure timely filing of accounts and tax returns with relevant authorities.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and provide management figures as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, attending meetings and offering expert advice.
  • Stay up to date with cloud accounting software, advising clients on best practices.
  • Oversee and review VAT returns, payrolls, and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Proactively manage client queries and liaise with HMRC when necessary.
  • Support the day-to-day management of a growing department, mentoring junior team members.
  • Identify opportunities for business development and attend networking events.
To be Successful:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or qualified by experience in a similar role.
  • Self-motivated, highly organised, and proactive approach to workload.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently at all levels.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability and professionalism under pressure.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding client service.
  • A proven ability to work collaboratively with teams and senior management.
  • A strong understanding of accounting regulations, tax compliance, VAT, and PAYE.
  • Supervisory experience and a talent for mentoring team members.
