- Manage and review annual accounts and tax computations for a diverse client portfolio.
- Ensure timely filing of accounts and tax returns with relevant authorities.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and provide management figures as needed.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, attending meetings and offering expert advice.
- Stay up to date with cloud accounting software, advising clients on best practices.
- Oversee and review VAT returns, payrolls, and compliance with tax regulations.
- Proactively manage client queries and liaise with HMRC when necessary.
- Support the day-to-day management of a growing department, mentoring junior team members.
- Identify opportunities for business development and attend networking events.
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or qualified by experience in a similar role.
- Self-motivated, highly organised, and proactive approach to workload.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently at all levels.
