Robert Half is excited to be engaged to recruit for a dynamic Finance Business Partner based in the heart of Cheltenham. You will be supporting an Operations team by providing insight and analysis on financial performance, helping to deliver business plans and targets in collaboration with the Senior Finance Business Partner.
Duration: 6 Months
Day Rate: £350pd - £400pd (Via Umbrella)
Location: Cheltenham - Hybrid working 1 day on site
Interview: Wk Commencing 6th January
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly P&L reviews with Senior FBP to ensure accuracy of practice accounts.
- Hold regular performance review meetings with Operations and Practice Managers, focusing on key financial metrics and KPIs.
- Provide insights into regional performance, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and improvement areas.
- Use BI tools to analyse variances in monthly/annual performance.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting as required.
- Maintain monthly calculations for annual deferred consideration payments.
- Handle ad-hoc financial requests from Operations or Senior FBP.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong financial analysis and data interpretation skills.
- Proficient in BI and financial reporting tools.
- Experience with P&L analysis, KPIs, and budgeting.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive.
Qualifications:
- Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Experience in a business partnering role, ideally within operations.
