Broster Buchanan are working with a client services company, based in Gloucestershire to recruit for a Finance Director to lead them through an exciting period of growth. Hybrid working arrangements are available.Key Responsibilities will include:

Develop and implement the financial strategy to support the company’s growth objectives
Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
Provide strategic recommendations to the MD and the executive team based on financial analysis and projections.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Evaluate and manage financial risks, opportunities, and investments.
Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Conduct financial due diligence for potential investment opportunities and acquisitions.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic vision, technical proficiency, and hands-on experience, ideally within a private equity environment. We are ideally looking for the following skills and experience:

ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role
Demonstrable experience in strategic financial planning, analysis, and management
Knowledge of UK financial regulations and accounting standards.
Exceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Proficient in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
A proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
