Broster Buchanan are working with a client services company, based in Gloucestershire to recruit for a Finance Director to lead them through an exciting period of growth. Hybrid working arrangements are available.Key Responsibilities will include:
  • Develop and implement the financial strategy to support the company’s growth objectives
  • Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the MD and the executive team based on financial analysis and projections.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders 
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Evaluate and manage financial risks, opportunities, and investments.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Conduct financial due diligence for potential investment opportunities and acquisitions.
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic vision, technical proficiency, and hands-on experience, ideally within a private equity environment. We are ideally looking for the following skills and experience:
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role
  • Demonstrable experience in strategic financial planning, analysis, and management
  • Knowledge of UK financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Proficient in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
