Our client, a leader in the defence sector, is urgently seeking an FP&A professional for a contract role to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting the FP&A Director with the preparation of reports and conducting detailed analysis for key stakeholders, with a strong focus on data accuracy and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the FP&A Director on monthly reporting and analysis of key metrics, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all deliverables
  • Implement improved functionality to existing budget and forecast Excel models
  • Assist with quarterly OneStream upload
  • Drive continuous improvement of the finance function from a process, operational, and systems perspective
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and project support as required, supporting the broader finance transformation
Job Requirements:
  • Experience in financial planning and analysis within the defence sector
  • Strong finance skills, including expertise in budgeting and forecasting
  • Proficiency with Excel and OneStream for financial reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and enhance data accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
