Responsibilities:

As an Office & Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to the commercial team and directors. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Organising payment runs with director oversight
  • Managing invoicing and credit control
  • Handling general bookkeeping
  • Managing VAT, CIS returns, and payroll preparation (experience with payroll in the construction sector is preferred)
  • Providing administration and support for the commercial team
  • Overseeing the organisation of social and team-building events
  • Managing weekly site reports with site managers for the review of company directors
  • Creating and managing project drawings packs
  • Assisting remotely with new site setup and H&S compliance (with the support of an H&S consultant)
  • Managing the timesheet and holiday calendar
  • Maintaining a subcontractor directory (updating insurances, CIS, and contact details)
  • Managing the fleet of commercial vehicles
  • Managing the H&S training programme for employees and organising group training events

Essential:

  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Google is advantageous
  • Ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Competency in data entry and maintaining accurate records
  • Understanding of the construction industry

Desirable:

  • Experience in the construction industry
