  • Working as part of a busy team, the role will provide support for one Financial Planner and will ensure the smooth running of the team and provide a comprehensive service to their clients.
  • Key duties and responsibilities include liaising with clients, assisting with enquiries, obtaining and analyzing technical information, conducting technical research, creating cash flow planning analysis, and preparation of suitability reports.

We are working with a reputable and well-established Independ Financial Planning firm, and they are looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join the team.

This is a hybrid role - 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

The role would be ideal for an experienced Level 4 Diploma Qualified Paraplanner looking to join a long-standing and stable team that offers excellent scope for development and long-term progression opportunities.

Working as part of a busy team, the role will provide support for one Financial Planner and will ensure the smooth running of the team and provide a comprehensive service to their clients. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Liaising with clients as required by the Financial Planner.
  • Assisting with enquiries in a timely manner and in adherence to our TCF requirements
  • Obtaining and analysing technical information from providers
  • Conducting technical research and interpreting the results
  • Creating accurate cash flow planning analysis in line with client objectives
  • Preparation of suitability reports ensuring a high level of accuracy and care, and a high degree of technical knowledge is necessary.
  • Processing new business and monitor through to completion.
  • Assist with administration for the team as needed.
  • Keeping up to date with all relevant product, legislative and technical changes

For this role candidates will need to have proven Paraplanning experience and ideally hold full Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (although candidates with strong experience will also be considered if they are nearly qualified).

Candidates will need to have excellent technical knowledge across a range of areas, be organized, work well under pressure, and have strong communication skills both verbally and written.
