Based in the heart of Cheltenham, this role offers an incredible opportunity to make an impact in a company that truly values innovation and growth.

As a Technical Manager, you'll be at the forefront of service delivery, ensuring everything runs smoothly while continuously refining processes. You’ll manage a dynamic team, acting as the go-to expert and mentor for Apprentices, Technicians, and Account Handlers.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee service delivery and technical operations, making sure your team is efficient and aligned with business goals.
  • Collaborate with other teams to enhance processes, offering solutions that benefit internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage your own technical caseload and lead by example with expert-level knowledge.
  • Drive key initiatives and process improvements to fuel business growth, while strengthening relationships with management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with your team to inspire high performance and tackle any challenges.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Significant experience in a senior role within commercial or London Market insurance.
  • Cert CII qualification (preferable).
  • A strong understanding of IBA and broking processes, and experience working closely with the London Market.
  • Exceptional technical expertise and people management skills, with a knack for communication and detail-oriented work.
  • A flexible mindset, willing to work in the office at least three days a week.
