Job Title: CNC Team Leader
Location: Cheltenham
Contract Details: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £34,000 to £38,000 per year
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday from 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM, with an early finish at 12:30 PM on Fridays

What You'll Be Doing:- Growing into a Leader - Step up from machinist to team leader with support and training.
- Helping the Team Thrive - Share your knowledge, guide others, and be the go-to person for problem-solving.
- Keeping Things Running Smoothly - Get involved in planning, production schedules, and making sure projects stay on track.
- Making Improvements - Spot inefficiencies and help make the shop run better and faster.
- Collaborating Across Departments - Work with other teams to keep everything flowing.
- Keeping Standards High - Make sure work meets quality and safety standards.
- Bringing Fresh Ideas - Your input matters! If you see a better way of doing things, speak up.
Essential:
- Experience setting and operating 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machines.
- Knowledge of CNC milling and turning machines.
- Familiarity with Fanuc and Haidenhain controls.
- A proactive, motivated attitude-someone who takes initiative.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- A willingness to step up and take on more responsibility.
Nice to Have (But Not a Dealbreaker):
- Experience with CNC Bridgeport and CNC Haas machines.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- An understanding of aerospace quality standards.
- Any previous experience mentoring or training others.
