Fleet Support Administrator

Long Term Temp Assignment

Location: Gloucester
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary Grade: D (£25,119 - £25,979)

Are you detail-oriented and skilled in fleet management and administration? We’re looking for a Fleet Support Administrator to manage essential records and coordinate services within our Fleet Operations team. This role ensures compliance with legislative requirements and provides outstanding service to both internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive vehicle, workshop, and operational records to uphold legislative and best practice standards.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the Fleet Management System and ensure efficient fleet service delivery, including stock ordering and management.
  • Process work orders, input and analyze data, and produce reports as needed for internal review.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between customers, workshops, and stakeholders, handling service schedules, quotations, and repair discussions.
  • Oversee vehicle hire processes, including booking, compliance checks, and pre/post-hire coordination.
  • Manage customer payments, generate invoices, control outstanding debts, and process parts orders and procurement.
  • Support full lifecycle management of fleet vehicles, including updating fuel cards, telematics, and insurance databases.
  • Conduct customer satisfaction reviews, promote fleet services, and assist with additional administrative tasks.

Qualifications

  • Full, valid UK Class B Driving Licence.
  • Recognized qualifications in Maths and English.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in administrative support within an operational environment.
  • Knowledge of vehicle fleet management practices and vehicle parts terminology.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and flexibility in working hours.
