Our client is seeking an Onsite Operative to join their team and play a crucial part in ensuring project tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.As an Onsite Operative, you will work on-site to carry out practical tasks, support project progress, and maintain quality standards. As a pioneer in packaging solutions, you will be aiding the safeguarding of valuable items from a single, highly delicate transistor to a helicopter, they excel at creating and manufacturing ideal packaging to meet any challenge.Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake physical tasks such as construction, handling equipment, and installing materials
  • Observe safety rules, use personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Operate tools and machinery safely, ensuring correct usage and maintenance
  • Work with colleagues to ensure effective and timely task completion
  • Assist with the correct storage and movement of materials, minimising waste
  • Identify and resolve on-site challenges in collaboration with supervisors
  • Maintain high standards of work and alert supervisors to any issues affecting quality

Essential Skills & Experience

  • A positive and adaptable attitude, with the ability to tackle challenges head-on
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility when traveling to site
  • GCSE qualifications minimum
  • OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) certification
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
  • CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) card
  • First Aid certification (beneficial)
