Your Role:

As a Secretary, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of efficiency and professionalism. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Diary Management: Arrange meetings and travel with precision and forward planning.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle daily correspondence and various administrative duties.
  • Team Liaison: Regularly communicate with the fee-earning team about clients, meetings, billing, and more.
  • First Point of Contact: Serve as the go-to person for all incoming queries, both internally and externally.
  • Client On-boarding: Be involved in new client procedures and ensure a smooth on-boarding process.
  • Database Management: Maintain relevant databases and oversee the progress of various projects.
  • Event Planning: Organise team events that foster camaraderie and team spirit.
  • Holiday Cover: Provide essential holiday cover for the secretarial team.
  • Meeting Support: Take notes in internal meetings and ensure everything runs smoothly.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: secretarial or administrative experience relevant to this role.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Flexible & Proactive: A can-do attitude with strong initiative.
  • Calm Under Pressure: Confidence and the ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations.
  • Geographical Knowledge: Good understanding of geographical locations.
  • Document Management: Experience with document management systems is a plus but not essential.
