Role Responsibilities
As a Semi Senior Accountant, you’ll support the team in delivering high-quality services to a range of clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Assisting with VAT returns, tax computations, and management accounts preparation
- Supporting the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
- Liaising with clients to gather information and provide support with queries
- Assisting with bookkeeping and ensuring client records are accurate and up-to-date
- Collaborating with senior team members on ad hoc tasks and projects
- Using accounting software to streamline processes and maintain efficiency

Candidate Requirements
- AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, or qualified by experience
- Proven experience in accounts preparation and assisting with tax compliance within a practice environment
- Strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage is advantageous
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
- A team player with a commitment to professional growth and development
