Solar PV CAD Designerc.£30,000Cheltenham Outskirts???????Great Company! The RoleAs a Solar PV CAD Designer, you’ll play an essential role within our Solar PV design team. With demand for solar installations continuing to increase rapidly and the UK target of net zero carbon by 2050, this role has been created to support our design team, ensuring our installers and clients have access to accurate Solar designs.There is scope for progression and the opportunity to utilise Solar and AutoCAD experience.Responsibilities• Reviewing tender packs and documentation from clients• Analysing energy reports against builders site plans• Collating documents to create a design pack• Creating detailed site plans indicating Solar PV locations• Completing designs primarily using AutoCAD• Assisting with ad-hoc administrative tasks• Assisting in the preparation and updating of documentation• Understanding and interpreting clients’ expectationsRequirements• AutoCAD experience essential• PVSol, VDV planner and Solar experience desirable• Organised with the ability to prioritise own workload• Strong IT skills (including Excel)• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
