Year 8 MLD Teacher
- January 6th start
- Special School
- Full teaching responsibilities
- Initially role till summer term
- 8:30am - 3:30pm
We're working on behalf of a brilliant special school in Cheltenham that are on the lookout for a SEN Teacher to join the team from January 6th leading a Year 8 class of MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) students.
The school look after a wide range of special needs & disabilities and are very well respected in the local community. They really are a wonderful school, I've only ever had positive feedback from candidates that have worked there.
The role
This role is covering a teacher who is going on a sabbatical from January to April, so initially the role is a contract booking but there is a chance this could be extended if there are other gaps within the school. The class has 12 students where you will be very well supported by 2 experienced LSA's that know the class well.
The class is very settled and will be a lovely environment to walk into! Due to the needs of the students it is important you have had experience with SEN/MLD in the past. In terms of necessary qualifications etc. the school are open to a range of applications; so whether you're an HLTA/Unqualified Teacher looking for a role with more responsibility or a SEN teacher looking for a short-term role - please apply!
