We are seeking an HSEQ Assistant to join a leading environmental consultancy that is committed to delivering high-quality work for clients and the environment. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) matters and is looking to make a positive impact within a dynamic business.
Day to Day of the role:- Act as the first point of contact for the team on HSEQ matters, directing them to the appropriate policy, guidance, or team members.
- Manage the HSEQ inbox, conduct audits, collate data, complete questionnaires, write reports, and schedule meetings to support HSEQ matters.
- Ensure the business complies with HSEQ standards and regulations.
- Engage in continuous professional development, seeking training opportunities, new initiatives, and personal growth within the role.
- GCSEs including Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in Health & Safety, Environment, and/or Quality, or a strong desire to learn about these areas.
- A positive, self-motivated, adaptable, proactive, and reactive attitude.
- A solution-focused approach with a passion for upholding compliance across HSEQ.
- A team-first mentality with excellent communication skills.
