We have a fantastic Talent Acquisition and Development Manager role for a leading professional services firm based in central Cheltenham.
The role
Reporting into the Head of HR this is the sole talent acquisition role and will be responsible for early careers, experienced hires, talent development, supporting ED&I and leading on a variety of recruitment projects.
Duties will include
- Partnering with hiring managers across the firm, supporting the end-to-end recruitment process
- Working with hiring managers to draft role profiles for vacancies and agreeing appropriate sourcing and selection strategies
- Driving direct hires through networking, direct approaches, referrals, advertising and other tools as required
- Managing recruitment agency relationships
- Advising and assisting on selection techniques, supporting the interview process as required and engaging with other selection tools such as psychometric testing
- Managing the candidate experience including interview arrangements, feedback etc.
- Managing the offer process and overseeing onboarding and induction.
- Assisting and leading on temp hires as required.
- Helping shape, manage and develop the Early Careers recruitment to include marketing, owning the application process including screening, designing and managing assessment days etc.
- Leading on employer branding through management of careers pages, job boards, directory entries etc.
- Developing the firm’s employee value proposition to maximise attraction, retention and employee experience.
- Assisting with pay and other benchmarking exercises using market knowledge and senior contacts.
- Supporting broader ED&I initiatives by ensuring recruitment and talent development processes are inclusive and non-discriminatory
The person
- Solid in-house recruitment experience
- Professional services experience would be beneficial but is not essential
- Proven track record in experienced hires and early years recruitment
- Experience of designing and running assessment centres and recruitment processes
- Exposure to talent management/development would be helpful but a willingness to develop in this area is essential
- Previous project-based experience would be helpful
- Proactive, flexible, confident and a positive attitude
- Ability to work with and influence senior stakeholders
- Strong prioritisation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to "get stuck in"
The salary
£60,000 - £65,000 plus bonus, hybrid working (three days in the office), free parking, 25 days holiday plus a discretionary day for your birthday, pension (5% employer, 4% employee), life assurance 4 x salary, PHI, private health care (Vitality) and hours are 9am - 5.15pm Monday to Friday.
The location
Central Cheltenham, free parking with some travel to London office as required.
