I am on the look out for a HR Officer/ HR Advisor looking for the next step in their HR career. You will support the Head of HR by providing expert advice on HR policies, managing employee relations, and assisting with key HR strategies to drive organisational success. This dynamic and challenging position offers the opportunity to engage in a variety of HR activities, drive impactful initiatives, and collaborate with colleagues across departments to foster a supportive and innovative work environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Recruitment, Onboarding, and Induction: Ensure adherence to recruitment, selection, induction, and probation requirements by tracking and supporting these processes.
  • Business Support: Provide coaching and education on HR-related matters such as disciplinary actions, grievances, performance, and capability issues, and build relationships with employees and key partners.
  • HR Policies and Procedures: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Process Mapping: Create and maintain process maps for all HR processes and support the development of the organisation’s Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Data Management: Provide administrative and analytical support, prepare MI data and KPI reports, and conduct research to drive people insights and decision-making.
  • HRIS Administration: Oversee all facets of the HRIS and proactively address any issues that arise.
  • Learning and Development: Contribute to the design and delivery of effective training programs and continuously evaluate and improve these programs to meet business goals and employee development needs.
  • General Support: Assist the Head of HR in key projects and achieving the HR strategy, specifically in relation to wellbeing, engagement, and retention.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience as a HR Officer/HR Advisor 
  • CIPD qualification is advantageous but not essential; hands-on experience is crucial.
  • Experience in Learning & Development is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications and an aptitude for learning new software systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Adept at multi-tasking, organising, and prioritising workload.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information.
