PHP Application Developers | Remote Working | Full Time | 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm Friday | £50,000 -£60,000 per year depending on experience
Our client is a leading digital distributor, empowering record labels and artists with comprehensive distribution services, strong partnerships, and innovative solutions. Specialising in music distribution to DSPs globally, they offer marketing opportunities, strategic planning, representation, and expert advice. Additionally, our client is a technology leader, providing bespoke label management software and advanced PRO accounting tools.
They are currently looking for PHP application developers with mid/senior level experience to join their growing technology team.
In addition to your responsibilities as a PHP Application Developer, you will have the opportunity to explore and play a part in other areas of interest, such as cloud infrastructure, systems observability and business intelligence.

Required skills
- Proven experience in PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- PHP MVC framework experience (preferably Laravel/Symfony)
- Git version control
- Composer and NPM package management
- Decent SQL skill level
What will your role look like?
As a developer at Cygnus, your main focus will be the development of new applications, either independently or in close conjunction with other team members.
You will be building software that will be used by some of the leading names in Electronic Music.

Interview Process
The first interview will be conducted with the lead developer and a senior developer. For candidates progressing to the second interview, a technical test will be sent after the initial interview. The second interview will be with the company directors and can be done remotely.
