- Experience in VMware Suite (ESXi, vSphere, vCentre, NSX), Windows, Active Directory
What will the VMware Support Engineer be doing?
- Support day to day BAU activities
- Act as a service operative providing 2nd line support
- Implement and maintain virtual environments
- Work within a technically challenging environment as part of a wider project team
- Some desktop configurations - Windows
- Some data centre access
- Providing ticket support
- Continually developing and progressing in career and skillset within a supportive environment
Key Skills Required:
- Knowledge of VMware suite - vSphere, NSX, ESXi, vCenter
- Core knowledge of VMware maintenance
- Windows administration
- Active Directory
- Awareness of Linux, Scripts, Monitoring Tools, Networking
Must Have:
- Active Enhanced DV Clearance (West)
- Willing to be on site 5 days per week in Cheltenham - no scope for remote working due to secure environment and project requirements - mission critical engagement
