An award-winning IT and Networks consultancy is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their expanding National Security team due to a renewed partnership.
The position requires an experienced client-facing Network Engineering professional based in the Greater Cheltenham area with necessary security clearance.
Candidates should possess technical competencies in LANs/WANs, TCP/IP protocols, and firewall technologies among others.
The role offers a competitive salary of £60,000 to £70,000, depending on experience.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in network engineering is required for applicants.

Award-winning IT and Networks consultancy is expanding their National Security team and requires a Senior Network Engineer to join this industry-leading practice as result of renewing a 14 year-partnership for a further 5 years.

This organisation are somewhat of an institution in Government as a long-standing network services supplier to the most secure Gov sites in the UK.

If you are an experienced client-facing Network Engineering professional based in the Greater Cheltenham area with the necessary privileges and clearance to work on-site with National Security customers and the below technical competencies please apply now:

Technical experience criteria:

LANs / WANs.
WAN solutions and circuits such as VPN's or MPLS.
TCP/IP based networks & protocols such as BGP, or OSPF.
Strong knowledge of switching and routing (CCIE or CCNP level).
Firewall technologies (Cisco / Fortinet / Palo Alto / Checkpoint).
Network design & documentation (LLD / HLD).
Application Delivery Controllers such as Citrix or F5.
Ansible or Python.
CiscoACI, VMware NSX or Nuage.
Cloud solutions (AWS or Azure).
