Our client has been established for more than 30 years and are a global market leader in the provision of highest quality infrastructure solutions for supply throughout the world, and as a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth for 2025, are now seeking to recruit an organised and experienced Project Planning Manager to oversee all aspects of proactive planning and delivery of multiple build projects as well as maintaining the highest levels of quality, customer service and satisfaction provided by the refurbishment division.

Reporting to the Divisional Operations Director, the successful Project Planning Manager candidate will be responsible for the preparation, planning and logistics of temporary build solutions and will be tasked with ensuring solutions are planned effectively and meet the highest quality standards whilst complying fully with industry regulations, and meeting often pressurised timescales and deadlines and remaining within budget.

To be considered for this varied and genuinely challenging Project Planning Manager role within a market leading environment where no day is ever the same, it is envisaged the successful candidate will demonstrate considerable experience in planning and project management - ideally gained within the construction industry although other fast paced technical environments will be considered, with experience in modular construction proving distinctly advantageous.

Essentially you will possess strong leadership and team management skills and the ability to use your effective communication skills at all levels and engage with and influence customers, suppliers and "trades" people (electricians, carpenters etc), along with excellent organisational and multitasking abilities and the ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines simultaneously, being mindful of resources required, storage logistics and deadlines in line with customer requirements.

Additionally, you will demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities and proficiency in project management software and tools, and comprehensive knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations. A full clean UK driving licence is essential for the position as there will be occasions where travel to sites may be required, and whilst remote / hybrid working is available, you will essentially be able to visit the Head Office environment near Cheltenham on a weekly basis or more, so will realistically live within an hour radius of the Cheltenham / Gloucester area.
