We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to join a leading company in the packaging solutions industry! Our client is known for their innovative approach to packaging, protecting everything from small, sensitive items to multi-million-pound machinery. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of manufacturing operatives, ensuring high standards of performance, quality, and safety.
  • Oversee inventory management, inspection, and control of goods in & out, ensuring accurate stock control and storage.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace, ensuring the warehouse is optimized for operational flow.
  • Drive process optimization initiatives and ensure the team consistently strives for improvement.
  • Support production activities, including cutting, welding, liaising with stitchers, and performing packaging and quality checks.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment while monitoring and ensuring smooth operation.
  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures, reporting defects to the Production Manager.
  • Resolve any issues and ensure team efficiency and morale is consistently high.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing a team in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Physically fit and ready to perform hands-on tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with team members and supervisors.
  • A proactive attitude towards safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
