We are delighted to be partnering with an innovative and fast growth FinTech based in Cheltenham, in their search for a Technical Insurance Broker.

Our client has developed an innovative product, and as a result, has surpassed some ambitious milestones, ahead of being well on their way to becoming a £100m business by 2028. Their clients include some of the UK's most successful scale-ups & many of their businesses are backed by the UK's top Venture Capital firms.As one of the more progressive employers in the area, they have shaped a brilliant, supportive culture, and have also received B-Corp accreditation.Role description: The Broker role is an embodiment of their ethos. Rather than the typical handling of various contacts in the business they feel their clients are served best dealing with one key contact!Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum commercial insurance broking experience of 3 years.
  • The ideal candidate should be a 'Senior Handler/Advisor’ who is looking towards or has had experience of an 'Account Executive’ role.
  • Personality is absolutely key, you’ll be a driven and ambitious person who is down to earth and a great team player.

Experience and skills required:

  • Any understanding, knowledge or experience of Public/Products & Employers liability, Material Damage, Business Interruption, Cyber & Professional Indemnity
  • Strong customer service focus with a firm belief of delivering the best for clients
  • Confident in attending client meetings both virtually (Teams, Zoom) and in person
  • Effective negotiation skills utilised with insurers
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and the ability to think "outside the box"
  • Minimum Cert CII Qualified
  • Acturis experience preferable
