We are searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic Stores Operative to support our client's production operations in a full-time, temp-to-perm role. Position Details:
- Hourly Pay Rate: £13.00
- Working Pattern: Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:15 & Friday's 07:30-12:00
- Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
What You'll Do:
As a Stores Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring our client's manufacturing processes run smoothly. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Picking and Packing: Timely and accurate picking of kits for production orders to support smooth manufacturing operations.
- Goods Preparation: Preparing goods for despatch, ensuring that all packaging and documentation meet customer requirements and company standards.
- Receiving Goods: Processing incoming goods, verifying quantities and quality, and updating inventory systems accordingly.
- Stock Management: Maintaining accurate stock records, conducting regular stock checks, and identifying any discrepancies.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Ensuring the stores area is organised, clean, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Documentation: Producing technical documentation and contributing to the creation of work instructions.
- Process Improvement: Assisting with the continuous improvement of stores processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaboration: Liaising with relevant departments to ensure a seamless flow of materials and information.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a stores, warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in goods in and stock control processes.
- Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
- A detail-oriented mindset and strong organisational skills.
- A proactive approach to improving processes and efficiency.
- A commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.
