Are you an experienced Catering/ Kitchen Assistant seeking a new opportunity to work within education? Would you enjoy working within a varied role to support in the preparation and serving of lunch and breakfast within an educational establishment?
We are currently supporting an educational establishment in the recruitment for a Kitchen Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis supporting on breakfast and lunch 5 days a week.
What are the roles and responsibilities for the Catering Assistant?
- Providing high customer service to all customers
- Ensuring all food deliveries are organised and stored correctly
- Prepare all kitchen, cashier and dining areas prior to each service
- Cleaning, preparing and serving food to all students and staff
What type of candidates are we looking for?
- Candidates with excellent customer service skills
- Experienced Catering/ Kitchen Assistants with an interest in working in education
- Numeracy efficient individuals
- Self-motivated team players
- Knowledge of food health and safety regulations or willingness to complete Level 2 Food Hygiene & Safety training (online)
This role is subject to satisfactory references and a valid Enhanced DBS check.
This opportunity is paying up to £11.98 per hour working 11-1pm – Annual salary of up to £23,114
