Our client offers a range of services including Masterplanning, Planning, Landscape Architecture, Ecology and Environmental services.

Over the years this well-established consultancy has developed a strong cliental, and pride themselves in the quality of projects/service they provide to them, therefore are seeking an individual who comes across extremely well and has the ability to form/maintain client relationships. Competitive salary ranging between £40,000 to £55,000 depending on experience

Senior Town Planner Job Overview

Assessing the potential of site for a range of developments, identifying opportunities and constraints and advising clients as such
The promotion of sites for residential and commercial development through the Local Plan process
Preparation and coordination of planning (and associated) applications including the drafting of supporting statements
Liaising with internal and external technical specialties, clients and Local Planning Authorities
Preparation of fee proposals and management of project budgets
Support to more junior members of the team
Promote the Company and to market the Company's services
Maintain a programme of CPD

Senior Town Planner Job Requirements

Degree and/or Masters in Town or Spatial Planning, desirable
Chartered Member of the RTPI desirable
3+ years planning experience in the public or private sector
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Project management experience including the management of budgets and invoicing
Full driving licence and use of own car
Live in a commutable distance of Gloucestershire
