Position: Commercial Property Partner Location: Cheltenham Salary: £80,000 - £130,000 The Opportunity An award-winning Legal 500 firm is seeking an experienced and driven Commercial Property Solicitor to join their reputable Cheltenham office as a Partner. This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role, spearheading the growth and success of a thriving commercial property department. The Role The role involves handling a broad range of commercial property matters, including sales and purchases, lease work, options and overages, purchasing development land, partnership agreements, and negotiating and drafting contracts. You will manage a varied caseload independently or collaboratively, covering leasehold, freehold, refinancing, and landlord/tenant issues.A key aspect of the role is playing a pivotal part in developing and maintaining key client relationships, providing high-quality, commercially beneficial advice. You will also lead and mentor a dynamic team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive working environment. In addition, you will drive business development initiatives, leveraging your network to expand the department’s client base and enhance its reputation. You Ideally, you will be a qualified Grade A Solicitor with at least 9PQE and extensive experience in commercial property law. You will possess a proven track record in managing and developing client relationships, along with strong leadership and mentoring skills. You should have an established following and demonstrate a passion for business development and department growth. You must be commercially aware, applying legal expertise to deliver practical, client-focused solutions.
