Job Title: Corporate Solicitor 2 + PQE Salary: Up to £50K DOE and PQE Hours: Full Time, flexible hours can be arrange if required. Location: CheltenhamThe firm:Established high street firm operating on a large scale with high-net-worth clients across the UK and overseas. This firm does not hire often, they have extremely low staff turnover which is a great representation of the culture and environment they have built over the years. Most staff started as trainees and are now senior solicitors, partners or shareholders.Your day to day and future:* As a Corporate Solicitor, you will work closely with senior solicitors in the Department, supporting a variety of complex, high-value corporate and commercial matters. * While you may not be involved in all areas immediately (depending on your experience), the firm handles a broad range of work, including mergers and acquisitions, share and asset sales, management buy-outs and buy-ins, etc.* Drafting shareholders and joint venture agreements, assisting with general corporate and commercial transactions, and advising on commercial agreements both in the UK and internationally. * You will also attend client meetings, offering valuable legal advice as you develop in your roleThe ideal applicant:* At least 2 years post qualified solicitor or equivalent in the Corporate field.* IT literate to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet applications;* Ability to build on existing and new client relationships. * Ability to prioritise workload;* Ability to demonstrate commercial awareness and pro-activity;* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to convey clear and concise information;* Highly focussed attention to detail;* Resilient and focussed;* Determination to achieve positive outcomesIn return:* 25 days holiday + bank. * Pension scheme * Healthcare & Private health insurance * Constant potential to progress and grow in your career. * Collaborative friendly working environment.For more details please contact: cait.woodrow-smith @ Simpsonjudge.co.ukJob Reference: CWS381
