I'm currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a top 100 law firm based in Cheltenham. They're looking for a passionate Private Client Solicitor to join their Older and Vulnerable Persons (OVP) team. The team is highly rated in Chambers and Legal 500, known for their work with high-net-worth clients and offering specialist advice to older and vulnerable individuals.If you have a Private Client background and an interest in working with vulnerable clients, this could be the perfect role for you. The OVP team works closely with clients facing a range of vulnerabilities such as brain injuries, dementia, learning disabilities, and mental health issues, so empathy and professionalism are key to this position.Your day-to-day will involve everything from meeting vulnerable clients to preparing Court of Protection applications, deputy reports, Wills, and Lasting Powers of Attorney. You'll liaise with carers, care homes, and other professionals to ensure that your clients are receiving the best care and financial support.While previous experience in Court of Protection work is a plus, it's not essential as full training will be provided.The firm is looking for someone who is NQ to 2 years PQE, with good communication skills and a passion for helping vulnerable adults. You’ll also get the chance to get involved in business development through networking events and creating content for articles and social media.The firm offers a fantastic benefits package, including:
