Tru Recruitment are excited to be working with a boutique law firm in Cheltenham who are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join the firm as a Corporate Trainee Solicitor. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

As a Corporate & Commercial Trainee Solicitor, you will collaborate closely with a team of experienced Solicitors who support clients with their legal needs. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience from industry experts and gain hands-on experience in a local law firm.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and prepare memos, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts and legal agreements.
  • Attend client meetings and assist in negotiations.
  • Provide legal advice and support to clients on various legal matters.
  • Help prepare and file legal documents with the court.
  • Assist with due diligence activities in corporate transactions.
  • Support Solicitors in managing and resolving legal disputes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law from
  • LPC or SQE qualified.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Meticulous and highly organised.
  • Interest in developing a career corporate & commercial law.
