My client is a property management company that has a vision to be the leading force in providing a diverse range of safe, inclusive, and sustainable accommodation for all.

The Paralegal will be an integral member of the Commercial and Legal Team, providing essential support to ensure the team's success. The main focus of the role will be on Commercial Contracts and Property Licences / Leases but there will also be exposure to other areas of law, so flexibility and a willingness to learn is a must.

What you will be doing

  • Assist in the reviewing, drafting and management of legal documentation including commercial contracts and leases.
  • Ensure the correct execution of legal documents.
  • Identify and gather essential data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and relevance, and accurately populate spreadsheets for analysis and reporting.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support ongoing legal matters, and strategic decision-making, ensuring all findings are accurate and relevant.
  • Support the team with business-wide legal issues.
  • Perform comprehensive Land Registry searches and thorough due diligence checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders professionally to gather necessary information, provide updates and address inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the team’s processes and procedures.
  • Execute general administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, managing diaries, and handling correspondence, with utmost efficiency and confidentiality.

What you will bring

  • At least 2-years’ experience in a Paralegal role, or legal environment is required.
  • Law degree, GDL, paralegal or other relevant legal qualification is required.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information.
