Expeditor/Scheduler - Cheltenham - Contract, Up to £30p/h inside ir35 - 12 Month ContractJob Summary:As an Expeditor/Scheduler, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing the production schedule. Your primary responsibilities include coordinating with suppliers, monitoring material flow, and resolving delays to meet project deadlines and maintain customer satisfaction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production and supply chain operations.Key Responsibilities:*Manage and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of parts and components.*Monitor and expedite the flow of materials between suppliers, internal teams, and customers.*Identify potential delays and implement solutions to mitigate risks.*Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure project timelines are met.*Track and report on material availability, production progress, and delivery schedules.*Communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers to ensure compliance with delivery schedules.*Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for efficient shipping and receiving processes.*Ensure all schedules and timelines adhere to company standards and customer requirements.Qualifications:*Experience in scheduling, expediting, or supply chain management, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing.*Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.*Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.*Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.*Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.*Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements is a plus.
