You will play a pivotal role in optimising production schedules, minimising downtime, and ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimise production schedules to ensure efficient manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor material availability, capacity planning, and lead times to balance supply with demand.
  • Work closely with Production, Procurement, and Sales teams to ensure alignment of schedules with business priorities and customer requirements.
  • Analyse production data to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to maximise productivity.
  • Coordinate and manage changes in production plans due to unexpected delays, material shortages, or urgent customer requirements.
  • Identify risks in production schedules and propose mitigation strategies.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Production Planner, Scheduler, or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of production planning principles, capacity management, and supply chain processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with IFS planning software is a plus.
