About the Role

This role is part of Ceiling Tiles UK, our specialist e-commerce division and the UK's leading online reseller of ceiling tiles and interior products. Our team thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, ensuring the seamless fulfilment of larger orders that go beyond our in-house capacity by leveraging our extensive network of trusted suppliers and manufacturers.

As an Operations Executive, you'll play a key role in making sure our customers receive a first-class service through coordinating suppliers, managing logistics, and generally problem-solving. You'll have a methodical approach, have a passion for detail, and be adaptable, quick-thinking, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. You will also work across multiple sites where required to support the connectivity between our Warehouse and office teams.

Key duties to include:

  • Order Fulfilment: Managing the procurement of materials through our trusted supplier and manufacturer networks.
  • Supplier Coordination: Building strong relationships with suppliers to ensure fast, cost-effective deliveries.
  • Accuracy & Attention to Detail: Checking supplier order acknowledgements and ensuring all documentation is correct and complete.
  • Communication & Customer Service: Answering calls, handling inquiries with professionalism, and keeping customers informed with confidence and clarity.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshooting logistical issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Customer-Focused: Providing industry-leading service and keeping customer satisfaction at the heart of what you do.
  • After-Order Care: Managing damages, returns, and refunds where applicable, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
  • Reviewing Technical Drawings: Using internal software to assess ceiling and partitioning drawings to generate accurate materials lists for customer orders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying smarter ways to work and helping to evolve our processes as the business grows.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Working closely with sales, admin, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
