Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Cheltenham
Salary: 35,000 to 38,000
An exciting opportunity has opened for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a medical company based in Cheltenham. The company are hiring junior engineers up to intermediate level so the ideal candidate will have around 2 to 3 years experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer and ideally be looking for roles that have product design within.
The company are an exciting medical start-up offering a bonus scheme and have some excellent opportunities for progression within the business.
Mechanical Design Engineer Key Skills:
- 2+ years experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
- Excellent knowledge 3D and 2D CAD
- Ideally experience with Solidworks
- BEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- DFM and FMEA experience ideal
Mechanical Design Engineer Duties:
- Design and develop existing products as well as new prototypes
- Producing 2D and 3D drawings within Solidworks
- Testing and documentation of products
- Some basic assembly and build may be required
