Currently Employing 75+ employees, Quickmach Engineering is a sub-contract engineering manufacturer, with a particular expertise in supplying intricate precision-machined components.
We are seeking skilled, time-served Toolroom Machinists with experience producing components to tight tolerances in Aerospace or similar manufacturing environments.
We have vacancies covering Milling, Turning and Grinding
Working Pattern: Mon-Thu: 07:30-16:00 Fri: 07:30-12:30
Responsibilities
- Set and Operate manual Mills and/or Lathes to produce one-off, and small batch, precision components.
- Manufacture aerospace, medical and tooling components to customer specifications.
- Troubleshoot faults, identify quality issues and provide remedial actions to rectify.
- Carry out self-inspection of components produced.
- Identify, suggest and implement process improvements
- Read and interpret technical drawings for production
- Complete route and batch paperwork relating to components
Requirements
- Proven experience setting and operating manual mills and/or lathes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience working with tight tolerances and measurements
