I am currently looking for Teaching Assistants to work in both Primary and Secondary Schools around the Cheltenham area.

Whether you're an experienced LSA or someone with experience working with children or vulnerable people, we have great opportunities for you.

Working as a TA on an ad-hoc basis, you are able to choose the days you want to work; you can cover supply days or work at 1 school on a long term basis; Part-Time or Full-Time.

There are also opportunities for you to work as a general TA or working 1:1 with SEND Children.

The hours of work will be 8:30am - 3:30pm, term time only. If you are seeking a permanent role, we can look to introduce you to a school through ad hoc work, then if you are a suitable fit for them, this could progress to a permanent role.

The Role

The schools that we work closely with are looking for flexible, enthusiastic and passionate individuals who are happy to work in small groups or 1:1 with children, supporting the Class Teacher.

You will be expected to:

  • Follow the school’s behaviour management policy.
  • Be patient with children and be adaptable for their needs.
  • Provide a safe and caring environment for the children.
  • Support the Class Teacher with activities, lessons and interventions.
  • Have great communication skills
  • Have strong subject knowledge
