GI Group are recruiting for aClass2 HIAB Driver for a position withour client based in Cheltenham.The ideal candidate will be placed on a temporary assignment to support the need ofan established builders merchants within the town. This role consists of day shifts, between the hours of 07:00am-17:00pm.
The Role:
This role consists ofmulti-drop delivery workconsisting of primarily building materials and timber products, completing deliveries across the Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. Manual handling may also be required if the driver cannot unload using the crane, so the ideal candidate must be confortable with strenuous work such as lifting. This is a temporary position and training will be provided on the job if needed. The driver will need to be confident in completing vehicle checks and completing any required defects paperwork.
The Perfect Candidate:
- Will hold a Clean Full UK Driving Licence
- Will hold a valid Tachograph and CPC Card
- Will hold a valid ALMI HIAB licence and will have previous experience utilising a crane
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience for insurance purposes.
- Will be over 25 years old for insurance purposes
- Will be flexible and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Will have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and an attention to detail is essential.
